CARTE BLANCHE À LEIPZIG
For its 26th edition, the Tupiniers du Vieux-Lyon Festival took part in the 30th anniversary celebrations of the sister city partnership between Lyon and Leipzig, by inviting the city’s ceramicists to come and exhibit their work.
A sculpture exhibition was set up in the Lazaristes’ school courtyard, while outside the courtyard were the stands of the ceramicists from the Terra Rossa organization in Leipzig.
Two actors of the "Theater ausdem Hut", Leipzig's street theatre company, strode along the market aisles on their stilts.
A beautiful event full of new discoveries!
For the exhibition:
Heinke BINDER, Frank BRINKMANN, Franziska KOLLNER MUNKELT, Rosi STEINBACH, Gabriela ROTH-BUDIG, Katarzyna ZENKIEWICZ.

The Terra Rossa organization, which brings together ceramicists from Leipzig and its close suburbs, runs a gallery in Leipzig, organizes workshops, training courses and works with schools.
A follow-up exhibition was held in the spring of 2013 in the Terra Rossa gallery, exhibiting the work of seven ceramicists from the organization.
The German Consulate General in Lyon supported this event.
